Geographical Responsibilities: AIA Groupwide

Position objective:
The Cloud Architect is responsible for supporting AIA business units on cloud transformation & migration

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support  business units on cloud transformation projects and migrations
• Convert business initiatives & application requirements into cloud architecture solution & design
• Align with Enterprise Architecture, Technology & Security Governance, and Cloud COE teams to ensure the cloud architecture solution & design adhere to  Cloud, Technology, Security and Architecture standard
• Transition cloud architecture solution & design to operations / suppliers for delivery
• Provide technical inputs for cloud business case and cost proposal review
• Conduct research and make recommendations on cloud technologies & services

Review cloud related scope of work and RFI/RFPs, and negotiate with cloud service suppliers for delivery

Min. Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• At least 10 years work experience within IT functions with at least 5 years in architecture & design role
• Proficiency in cloud architecture design and implementation experiences with Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, API, serverless technologies and PaaS
• Familiar with DevOps technologies and flows e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube, etc.
• Preferably experienced on hybrid cloud integration with cloud networking knowledge
• Ability to drive multiple vendors to support implementation over complex architecture environment
• Strong project management skills, and support multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong sense of ownership & ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin is a plus
