Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the ongoing compliance to the production control plans including the maintenance of the document(s) through the life of the program. o Confirm the related test/measurement equipment is used properly, calibrated, variation study in terms of MSA, and maintained, including “red rabbits” for Poka Yoke verification. o Collect, review, and react to data collected within the manufacturing process per the control plan. Ensure the update and maintenance of the capability studies (SPC data collection). Supports continuous improvement efforts.
- Responsible for the approval and maintenance of quality documentation on behalf of the plant quality leader as part of a cross functional team for the production line/cell such as control plans, work instructions, boundary samples, rework/inspection instructions, etc.
- Ensures compliance to the containment, rework, and inspection processes for non-conforming product. Leads disposition of non-conforming product and ensures timely disposition.
- Quality lead on problem solving team and for Fast Response System. Responsible for driving the problem-solving process including tool use, confirming 8D content and meeting customer and/or internal response time requirements.
- In the case of non-conforming products, facilitates the problem-solving process with the relevant team.
- Coordinate necessary internal sorting activities. o Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues. o Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources.
- Perform process capability studies on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
- Participate in the modification of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Functionally works with the Manufacturing Quality Engineers to ensure their training and qualification. Responsible for the inspection/audit process and the output of the inspections/audits.
- Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies, and general duty of care.

Job Requirements:
Essential: • Min 10 years’ experience in industry • Experienced with working in a faced paced, high mix low volume manufacturing environment • Experienced with manufacturing quality or product quality management • Knowledgeable of SPC, Variation Control, and MSA or GR&R techniques • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and copy exactly requirements
Essential: • Management experiences is preferred. • The 6-Sigma blackbelt certify is preferred.
EDUCATION: • Bachelor Science in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or or equivalent combination of education and experience. • MBA – desired.
