RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Domain Management and Network Configuration a. Maintain and troubleshoot DNS issues, including reverse DNS configurations. b. Manage domain controller replication and activation processes. c. Ensure compliance with network security policies, especially regarding firewall configurations.
2. Cloud Infrastructure and Compliance a. Oversee Azure cloud services, focusing on secure storage account configurations. b. Implement and monitor virtual network rules and manage access to virtual networks. c. Administer Key Vault, including setting expiration dates and access policies per compliance requirements.
3. Disaster Recovery and Troubleshooting a. Conduct disaster recovery testing and troubleshooting utilizing Azure Site Recovery (ASR). b. Test and verify connectivity for various services, including remote troubleshooting and system replication. c. Liaise with Microsoft support for issue resolution and workarounds related to ASR and cloud services.
4. Security, System Integration, and Data Governance a. Participate in the planning and execution of security drills and manage security tools as per organizational standards. b. Address system integration challenges and ensure secure system access. c. Utilize Microsoft Purview for data discovery, classification, and protection.
5. Meetings, Documentation, and Compliance Reporting a. Engage in knowledge transfer sessions to stay updated with the existing system configurations and ongoing projects. b. Document cloud architecture updates, disaster recovery plans, and troubleshooting steps. c. Prepare for and attend meetings focusing on network connectivity, cloud architecture, and security compliance. d. Use Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
6. Compliance and Best Practices a. Prepare and update documentation for security and compliance questionnaires. b. Stay abreast of cloud storage best practices and maintain cloud defense mechanisms.

REQUIREMENT

a. Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault. b. Understanding of network configurations such as DNS, VPN, and firewalls. c. Expertise in using Microsoft Purview for data discovery, classification, and governance across various data sources. d. Familiarity with data protection policies and regulatory compliance requirements. e. Strong knowledge of network security protocols, virtual network configuration, and firewall management. f. Experience with security compliance standards and disaster recovery planning. g. Ability to manage domain controllers, including replication and activation issues. h. Experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting. i. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. j. Experience working with support teams, such as Microsoft’s technical support. k. Strong documentation skills to keep accurate records of configurations, issues, and resolutions. l. Effective communication skills for knowledge transfer and collaborative problem-solving. m. Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure and cloud services. n. Knowledge of best practices for cloud security and management.
