Assures the continuous on-time flow of quality material to insure the scheduled production and shipment of customer deliverable products. Minimizes company inventory, including all purchased, work-in-process and finished goods. Builds relationships with suppliers to establish and achieve reduced lead time, quality, delivery, and cost goals. Develops and manages all processes related to the accomplishment of the above.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Supply Assurance.
2. Inventory optimization.
3. Oversee and manage the change management, implementation, and execution.
4. Support Global Commodity Management strategy activities, including and not limited to VIM, Kanban, JIT.
5. Collaborate with Regional BU’s and Global teams to ensure supply visibility and strategy, eg demand driven planning and supply, recycle packaging effort etc.
6. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies, and general duty of care.
7. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS: • Experience with a variety of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. Imaginative application of custom supply solutions to reduce non-value portion of material procurement. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Excellent leadership and personnel development skills. • Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills. • Manage by influence and manage from distance. • Crisis Management.

EXPERIENCE: • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in manufacturing and materials management. • Experience with SAP preferred. • CPM, CPIM,CIPS or APICs certifications preferred.

EDUCATION: • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, purchasing/ logistic/ Material Management or equivalent education and/or experience.
